Discovery Services Librarian

I'm the Discovery Librarian at the University of Central Florida. I've bounced around the academic library for 24 years, with stints in Reference, Instruction, Systems, and Acquisitions. My work and research center on applying technology to connect users to content. I like to explore usability, user experience, and technology for improving discovery and access. In my current role, I oversee eResources expenditures, lead implementation and maintenance of discovery and access technologies, and spend too much time in email and not enough in spreadsheets. My first love remains public service, and I am lucky to give four hours per week to Reference and Ask a Librarian.
