Dr Berenika M. Webster is a Product Manager for the Thomson Reuters Scientific.  She is responsible for the development of two research analytics products: InCites and Research in View.  Berenika holds a Masters degree in Information Science from University of Western Ontario and PhD in bibliometrics from Warsaw University. 


She has 15 years of experience in bibliometrics research and consultancy work in UK and Australia.  Her bibliometric work focuses on methodological approaches to evaluating impact of research in biomedical and social sciences.  She has conducted bibliometric studies funded, among others, by the Wellcome Trust, Medical Research Council and Parkinson’s Disease Society in UK as well as research organisations in Australia and New Zealand, including ANSTO and University of Adelaide.  


Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Dr. Webster held academic posts in UK (Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne and City University in London) and New Zealand (Victoria University in Wellington) and was an Academic Project Manager (Research Quality) at Office of the DVC-R at University of Queensland in Australia.  She has published in the area of scholarly communication and research evaluation and sits on an editorial board and reviews manuscripts for a number of information science journals.
