David M. Earle is Associate Professor of Transatlantic Modernism and Print Culture at the University of West Florida. He is author of Re-Covering Modernism: Pulps, Paperbacks, and the Prejudice of Form (Ashgate, 2009) and All Man!: Hemingway, 1950s Men’s Magazines, and the Masculine Persona (Kent State, 2009). Online projects include the Virtual Newsstand, a digital recreation of a newsstand from 1925, and the Pulp Magazines Project, a research hub for the study of early 20th century all-fiction magazines.
