Daniel A. Freeman is the Online Learning Manager for American Library Association Publishing. In this capacity, he produces and managers online workshops, online courses, webinars and other professional development opportunities for librarians. He is former Editor of Library Technology Reports and Smart Libraries Newsletter. He holds an M.S. from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois.

Prior to joining ALA, Daniel was an Online Content Specialist at Time, Inc.
