July 2004 to date:  Charleston School of Law, Sol Blatt Jr. Law Library

Associate Law Librarian/Head of Technical Services.  Member of the founding staff of the School.  Responsible for supervising the Technical Services Department and assisting the Library Director in matters related to library administration and drafting and implementation of library policies and procedures.

June 1986 to June 2004: St. Thomas University Law Library, Miami Gardens, Florida

Associate Law Librarian for Administration and Technical Services in charge of supervising Technical Services and assisting with the library administration.

1985 to 1986:  Florida International University, Miami, FL. Working on a special project verifying and updating serials titles holdings.

1981 to 1985: Gulf & Western Americas Corporation, Dominican Republic. Librarian in charge of supervising four special libraries.

1974 to 1981: University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. Head of Cataloging, Periodicals Collection and Gift and Exchange Departments.

Memberships and committees:

American Association of Law Libraries (AALL)

Active member of the Technical Services SIS, TS SIS  Acquisitions and Serials Committees. Committee Chair and speaker and/or coordinator for several programs on the topic of serials management and statistics.

Southeastern Association of American Law Libraries (SEAALL)

Member since 1987 serving as Treasurer, Chair Membership Committee, Registered Agent  and member of the  2002 Meeting Local Arrangements Committee.

Association of Caribbean University, Research and Institutional Libraries (ACURIL)

Member and Co-Chair of the Law Libraries Special Interest Section.
