Over the years, I have been responsible for license negotiation, e-resource acquisitions, OpenURL and discovery platform implementations, remote access maintenance, and collection development. I have organized conference sessions, presented, and published on e-resource management topics, and have chaired interest groups for SLA and the American Society for Information Science & Technology. I am currently the Electronic Resources Librarian at Rice University. I also rotate as instructor for ALA’s Fundamentals of Electronic Resources Acquisitions web course and participate in the development of e-resource management standards and best practices as a working group member of NISO.
